Great choice for a weekend getaway. The building and rooms were very nice and clean, with comfortable beds. Convenient central location, close to Grace Episcopal Church in a great part of town.

When I booked online, I never saw anything about a deposit fee of $25 at check in. So that was a surprise. I travel a lot and no other hotels have asked me for that. At check in, we were never told about a breakfast voucher for specific rooms only. If you don't have a breakfast voucher then they don't even tell you when you're getting you're breakfast they let you think it's a free continental breakfast, then bring you a bill, $15 for adults $7.95 kids. If we would have known we would have gone to McDonald's!! That's so disrespectful to not let your guests know about that charge upfront before they get their food. I realize our room was on sale, a deal of the day online when I booked, but I'm just not impressed. This was not my first stay at a Hilton. Our restroom was very small, paint chipping, pieces broken from mirror. I'm definitely just not impressed overall.

There was no coffee in the lobby! I am not the only one who was asking for it. Staff personalities were what I would expect to get at a motel 8. Nobody went out of their way to help.

The hotel was under construction during our visit, and the noise from the construction work started early in the morning, without any prior warning from the staff. It would have been nice to have been informed about the ongoing construction.
